Nazmul Ahasan is a Bangladeshi journalist currently working for Bloomberg in the United States as an Agriculture Reporter. He earlier pursued graduate studies in journalism at the University of California, Berkeley.

His pieces and reporting contributions have appeared in major publications including The Washington Post, Foreign Policy, The Economist, The Telegraph, Devex, and Haaretz.

He previously worked for The Daily Star newspaper. He often wrote stunning long-piece editorials defining Bangladesh and its major events in local and international media.
