Mohammad Ali Mazed is a reporter at AFP Fact Check's Dhaka bureau. Writing in English and Bengali, he debunks misinformation circulating online in Bangladesh.

Mazed studied Islamic History and Culture in the University of Dhaka. 

He later worked as a reporter for fact-checking organisation BOOM Live. He debunked false claims circulating online during the sensitive time of religious conflict in Bangladesh in 2021, communal violence in India in 2022 and The Russian invasion in Ukraine. 
 
Besides debunking misinformation, Mazed writes for wire service as well. He regularly conducts training sessions on online verification and media literacy in Bangladesh.
