MOUDUD SUJAN
Moudud Ahmmed Sujan is a Dhaka-based freelance text journalist for Al Jazeera English, where his long-form features bring a global perspective and incisive analysis to key developments in Bangladesh.
He is also the Head of Online at the Daily Sun, leading the outlet’s digital strategy and coverage on both national and international affairs.

With over a decade of experience in investigative reporting, Sujan has contributed to several of Bangladesh’s leading news platforms, including The Daily Star. His reporting spans health, science, human rights, and governance—often blending on-the-ground fieldwork with newsroom leadership.

Sujan’s commitment to health and science journalism has earned international recognition. In 2022, he was named a Rare Disease Reporting Fellow by the National Press Foundation, completed the "Let’s Talk Vaccines" course through Internews, and participated in the DNDi Asia Media Workshop in Bangkok.
In 2024, he took part in the Tobacco Control Leadership Training organised by Johns Hopkins University in Colombo.
