MOHAMMAD ARIF ULLAH
Mohammad Arif Ullah is a Europe-based Bangladeshi journalist mainly working with France24.
A graduate of Université Panthéon-Sorbonne Paris 1 and the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po), he began a full-time careerin journalism with the French public media group, France Médias Monde (FMM), which includes France24, RFI, and MCD.
His work primarily focuses on migration and immigration-related news within the European Union and in migrant host countries. At FMM, he contributes to the Infomigrants website in Bengali, English, and French — a collaborative project between France24 and Deutsche Welle (DW) via the EU.
Arif also collaborates with colleagues at their Bonn office. He. undertook several long-term reporting missions with DW in Greece, Italy, and Romania.
Besides journalism, he works part-time as a Bangladesh Project Officer for the prominent French human rights group Planète Réfugiés-Droits de l'Homme (PRDH). Beyond migration, Arif grew strong interest in human rights, elections, and the political landscape of Bangladesh and the European Union.​
